The fully open option is close to what the school looked like before Covid-19 hit. This option is when the school is back with all students going either 4 days a week (one cleaning day) or 5 days a week. The students will be required to wear masks at all times and socially distance, this is subject to change state to state.

Covid-19:

 Schools Fully Open

Back to School with Mask

These plans for reopening schools are mostly school specific

*some schools may be open for a full day like normal, however, others are doing half days to cut out the issue of lunch.

What is my school doing?

Red Bank Regional has not implemented their plan to fully open, however it seems to be underway. It seems that the next step will be to get rid of the cohorts and send students in 4 out of the 5 days, still keeping one virtual day for a cleaning day. We also will not be going back for a full day, just a half day to again eliminate the problem of lunch.

Pros:

*Students are able to come into school with everyone

*This is the closest option to making school feel "normal"

*Allows teachers to also feel a sense of normalcy

Cons:

*Some people may not be comfortable coming back to school full time

*Some schools may not be able to accommodate doing fully open

*Might put some stress on students after having a year of school being very different to almost completely back to normal
