Web Design
Web Design 1 (6627) – This semester course will focus on the three basic design concepts for a Web site: information design (how to structure information); programming design (getting the site to function), and visual design (what the site will look like). A commonsense approach to design fundamentals will demonstrate how the Web homepage is a practical tool designed to capture and inform an audience. Students will be able to design their web pages using Macromedia Dreamweaver and add animations to them using Macromedia Flash and Fireworks. CR 2.5, YO 9,10,11,12
​Web Design 2 (6628) – Students will learn the most important topics of HTML including creating multimedia Web pages with hypertext links, tables, frames, forms and cascading style sheets. Students will learn the basics of XML including creating XML documents and binding data. Students will design and develop wireless web pages using XHTML and WML. CR 2.5, YO 9, 10,11,12, PRE Web Page Design 1
Virtual Locker​
The Virtual Locker project was the first project completed in Web Design. We completed it as an introduction for ourselves and to show who we are and what we like. We created a "locker" by pasting images that describe us onto the Google Slide. As we started added more pictures it acted as a locker that we were decorating at school. I added different colleges I liked, sports I played, activities I liked to do, etc. This was a very fun and interactive project to start off the year.
Weebly Website
The Weebly website was the first website we created in Web Design. We created a a personal site to talk about ourselves, school and this class. That website is very similarly to the Wix site, where we add new websites we make in class and start playing around with different sites. This website was a very good start to get us comfortable with creating websites.
How To Website
The How To website was used for students to explain how to make something or how to do something. We were able to express somethings we like to do and show a creative side to ourselves.
Fan Page Website
This website was were we could talk about some of our favorite celebrities. We wrote about what they did, if we could meet them, etc. We could talk about actors, sports players, singers, anything.
Future You Website
This website we were able to talk about our futures and what our lives would look like. We created the website like we were living out our dreams already. We discussed our careers, what our life is like and what we plan to do in future.
Snow Day
For this assignment we had to either go take a picture in the snow or make an old picture current using Photoshop. I used an old picture and tried making it current using photoshop.
Photoshop Project
This project had us take two pictures and combine it into one picture. Specifically we took a snowman and cut it and put it on a beach. Then we add sayings and effects to make it personal.
Covid-19 Website
This website was very current because of what the world is like right now. We created a website that showed what ways school could look right now regarding the pandemic. Then we compared that to our school and explained the steps we have been taking to reopen our school in a pandemic.
Young vs. Old Solo Photoshop
This project had us use photoshop to try and combine a picture of Young Solo and Old Solo. Our end result was a picture of them standing next to each other.
Celebrity Photoshop Project
For this project we used a picture of a celebrity and a picture of ourselves. We then combined the pictures to make it look like we were actually in the picture together.
Face Swap Meet and Greet
For this project we took a picture of two celebrities together and then photoshopped our face onto one of the celebrities. This made it look like it was a meet and greet with us.
Vacation Time Photoshop Project
This project required us to take a scenic picture of a vacation and then add a picture of ourselves to it. This would give it the allusion that we were actually standing in the scenic picture of our vacation.
Starring In Photoshop Project
This project is where we took a scene from a movie or a tv show and we photoshopped ourselves into the scene. I choose the High School Musical 3 scene and photoshopped myself in as the main character, Gabriella.
Cartoons in Real Life
In this project we were able to take a cartoon and either put ourselves in a cartoon or put a cartoon in a picture that we had. I used a picture of my dog and photoshopped Woodstock into the picture.
Clone Project
This project required us to Clone ourselves. We took multiple pictures of ourselves in one area. Then using photoshop we were able to combine all the pictures of ourselves in one picture.
